About Angie

Ready or not, welcome to my obsession. You may already know, my name is Angie and I’ve been reselling for 10 years now. I’ve had the idea of starting a podcast for years, and while I wanted it to revolve around reselling in some way, I didn’t want it to revolve around reselling.

I’d rather not talk about the business side of things and instead, I want to talk about the things I find and I don’t mean the BOLOS, “Be On The Lookout” or the “What Sold”, which I’ve done myself and enjoy seeing from others.

Finding ephemera, especially the pieces hidden within the things I find, is the best. Maybe it was in a book or found attached to the back of framed picture. So, I made the decision to start a podcast and have fun every step of the way. Good, bad, ugly. I’m here for it.

When I began working on the idea, I didn’t want to stop, and I really do feel an extreme amount of joy as I’m doing this. I’m not someone who has any answers, and I’m certainly not an expert at anything, but I have a curiosity I feel has grown alongside my age.

I think the biggest thing is thinking about what I’m missing, and while it wasn’t always like this, I’m missing a true connection to what I’m doing. More importantly, it’s what I don’t want to miss out on, which is starting this damn podcast.

I definitely had the thought, why would someone listen to me and I don’t have an answer to that. If you’re a curious person like me, if you’re interested in listening to someone who, instead of claiming to have the answers for you, allows you to ask yourself something new. And if you’re looking to hear something that isn’t like everything else out there, this might just satisfy that.

Now, I didn’t know how to start a podcast, but I started, I didn’t know how to edit, but I’m learning. I, like most people, think my voice sounds weird, but the more I listen to it, the more it grows on me, and I’m sure it’ll be the same for you too, right? LOL

I don’t know if I’d consider myself an ephemera collector, but I’ve collected some ephemera over the years. Reselling has been a love of mine for a long time, but I’d like to make room to share and talk about the snippets I find.

No matter how long or short episodes are, no matter how meaningless something may seem, no matter if it’s controversial, devastating, or heartwarming. No matter if I lack the knowledge on a specific topic, these things should be shared and I’m ready to learn whatever I need to get it done.

This isn’t necessarily nostalgia but, it’s always human.

Many thanks for joining me on this journey.

Angie, the Retell Seller
BTW, I swear a lot…but, I swear I won’t a lot 😉
