My thoughts could be negative but, that only perpetuates negativity. I choose to think how awesome it is to be at home at this very moment. My husband just next to me working on his business. Listening to a live video of someone making pottery as I type this up. Enjoying a beer. Excited to get online with my gal pals later and "hang out" even if through computer screens. Keep your head up and enjoy the smallest of things. I promise, it will make a difference.⠀

Just because something is broken, doesn't mean it'

Just because something is broken, doesn't mean it's junk. Just because parts are missing, doesn't mean it's junk. Hell, things could be scratched up, nicked up, and worn down....way down. That doesn't mean it's junk. Things can have a questionable look 👀 and junk it does not make.

Things go through the years and if we're lucky, they're still around. No matter the age, I find it amazing things float on through this world and make their way into someone's life to then be repaired, renewed, revamped, re-loved, rejuvenated, reused, and displayed.
While I love learning about the things I find, the most important thing is putting them into the hands of someone who will do something with them, make it their own or even pass it on again to someone who will appreciate their handiwork. I'm Angie and I save things 🦸‍♀️

This is a standing ashtray, minus the top part, I got in an auction lot. It didn't have the ashtray, no handle, the pot metal is chipping off all around the bottom. So I had my hubs sandblast it.

I don't know what I'll be doing with it exactly. Maybe paint it? Honestly, I'm not a cherub kinda gal. We'll see. If anything, I can always donate it or gift it to an unsuspecting family member who may, in turn, donate it themselves.
